The Cape Town Branch of the Right to Live Campaign is blessed to be affiliated with many wonderful organisations and individuals and is grateful for their generousity and for their invaluable guidance and support.

Right to Live Campaign

The Right To Live campaign in Cape Town runs under the umbrella of the Right To Live Campaign that was founded in 1996 in Durban by Father Massimo Biancalani with the patronage of Cardinal Wilfrid Napier OFM. Today the Campaign is co-ordinated by Father Biancalani and runs 7 Mater Homes in the Kwazulu/Natal region caring for abused women, women in crisis pregnancies with nowhere to go, and HIV/AIDS victims.

Cape Town Archdiocese

In Cape Town, the project has been blessed by the Archbishop of Cape Town, Archbishop Lawrence Patrick Henry.

Southern African Bishops' Conference


The Right to Live Campaign is sanctioned by the Southern African Bishops’ Conference

The Knights of da Gama

The Knights of da Gama in Cape Town have offered their support to take care of the maintenance of the Mater Domini home.

The Salesian Institute

The Right To Live team in Cape Town is working with the Salesian Institute to provide a skills training programme.
