The objectives of the Volunteer Program are
- To develop proactive programs and projects with a committed, motivated, and lively group of volunteers to ensure the support and smooth running of the Right to Live Campaign.
- To give those who come to us for support the best responsible care we can provide for them in a loving and non-judgmental environment
- To attract people from the community to volunteer and get involved
- To share pro-life beliefs and increase the awareness of the issues and alternatives

- Clerical support – filing and admin, maintenance of records
- Scheduling and appointments, meetings
- Development of processes
- Professional support (legal, accounting, book-keeping)
- IT support – maintenance of the computer IT equipment
- Exchange program
- Research projects – working on research projects

Co-ordination and communication with local parishes and communities (eg. At Christmas time, run local community collections)

| Donation programs |
- Drives to call for donations. There may be special projects and special needs when we will develop special campaigns and call for help.
- Contact with local stores for donations goods and especially daily needs of food, perishables, and consumables.
- Receiving and sorting through donations (collecting donations, making necessary repairs, updating inventory, and safe storage of donations)

- Fund-raising events and activities
- Investigate grants available and funds from all sources both locally and internationally

| Spiritual support |
Recognizing the power and importance of prayer – we ask for your prayers for people staying in our homes and those who work in the program. Some suggestions for prayers and praying are
- Prayer groups
- Rosary groups
- Children’s prayer groups
- Support Prayer Vigils
- Create holy cards and prayers (maybe pro-life Christmas cards)
- ‘Adopt a person’ and pray for them

| Counseling |
| A most important part of program is that each person staying in Mater Domini is assigned a counselor so we are looking for people who have had experience in this area. |
|
| Skills development |
One important aspect of our work is to actively seek to equip people in our homes with the personal, life and occupational skills so that they can be better equipped for life as mothers, and be able to find a decent job with the new skills they have acquired. We are looking for people who can share their skills and assist with the training and skills development program.
